Fernando played High School Baseball at Forest
Hills High for all 4 years were he was the captain his senior year as the team
made it to the semi-finals. In college Fernando was a part of the only team in
John Jay College history to earn a NCAA bid capturing the CUNY And Knickerbocker Titles
at Yankee and Shea Stadiums.

Phillies of the QMBL. The Perfect Game was the first in New York's Finest
Baseball Team history.
