For the past 21/2 years The Centurion Baseball Team has not lost in an Arizona Championship tournament.  We have won the Tucson and Mesa tournament and hope to go into Scottsdale, Arizona and continue the streak.  We have faced some great teams such as Tucson.  In the past 2 years we have faced Tucson three times in the Championship game.  They are a great team and great competitors.  NYPD Finest have always given us great competition and with their outstanding pitching we hope to continue that competitiveness.  Unfortunately the Anaya Tournament (San Diego) has been cancelled due to the high cost to play at "Tony Gwynn Stadium" (San Diego State University).  That tournament was like playing for the Gold Medal in the Olympics.  14-16 teams competed to become the champion.  It was not only to play baseball but the money paid went to a very good cause as we all know.  The parents of Officer Anaya, who lost his life in the line of duty, put the tournament together for 15 years.
